Nowadays it is recognized that cuttlefish have extensive function in different basis. Despite this, there is some information about biology of cuttlefish in Iranian waters. In this study it is tried to obtain information about number of chromosomes in Sepia pharaonis in the waters of soutern country in Bahracan region. Bahracan is one of the important fishing ground in eastern part of Khuzestan province. In this area fishermen hunt aquatic animals with trawl and gargoor. Chromosomes preparations of the Cuttlefish Sepia pharaonis were studied using conventional Gimsa staining. The numbers of diploid chromosomes (2N) of Sepia pharaonis were 48 and most of the metaphase plackes were in a range of 42 to 56.

Otoliths or ear stones are hard skeletal elements having mineral and organic substances in the head of fishes. There are three pairs of otoliths which are called sagitta, lapillus and asteriscus. In the present research work, otoliths of 13 fish species from 12 genera, 4 families and 4 orders (Cypriniformes, Perciformes, Esociformes and Mugilliformes) were studied. Results showed that shape, size and structure of otoliths in studied fishes are diverse and species specific. It was revealed that asteriscus otolith in Cyprinidae and sagitta in Gobiidae, Mugillidae and Esocidae are the biggest otoliths. There were variations in shapes of astersiscus (round, oval and square) in all four families. These variations could be used in taxonomic studies, paleontology and study of food and feeding habits of aquatic vertebrates such as mammals, birds and fishes.

In order to reduce the inhibitory phenomena of the produced lactic acid CaCO3, NaOH and in situ extractive fermentation system.were used Meanwhile by optimumization of the used culture medium and cell immobilized system and by changing some parameters such as gel/medium ratio, bead size، weight of initial dry cell to provide high productivity. as a result , the maximum productivity was 3.75 g L-1h-1 in 2/5 = gel/medium، 3×3×1 mm3 and the weight of initial dry cell was 24.47g L-1 the matrix of agar, alginic acid and Na alginate were studied in respect of stability that owing to compound culture medium and strain, the agar matrix showed higher stability (20 days) The effect of different diluents was studied in respect of exertion of general toxicity and toxicity in molecular level on strain . Also the distribution coefficient and extraction percentage of diluents along with trioctylamine (15%v/v) and the effect of amine increase with diluents decanole were studied. Since decanol Lacked toxicity on molecular level and solvent 15% v/v ،trioctylamine plus decanol owing to lower molecular toxicity and the percentage of extraction was relativity good and the solvent was recognized suitable in the cells immobilized and in situ extractive fermentation system. The back extraction of lactic acid was carried out by NaOH and HCl. by NaOH about 99.276% lactic acid and by HCl about 60% of Lactic acid was recovered.

Analysis of genetic diversity is an important and effective strategy in crop development. In this research 12 polymorph microsatellite markers used to study of genetic diversity structure of 25 accession of diploid einkorn wheats in two species (Titicum boeoticum and T.urartu) collected from west and Northwestern Regions of Iran. Totally 87 alleles amplified by 12 pairs of SSR primers used in this study. Allele number of different loci was varied from 2 to 14 alleles and 7.2 alleles per locus in average. Calculated polymorphism information content for SSR loci was in the range of 0.37 to 0.92. Similarity coefficients calculated by Dice and Jacard functions used for cluster analysis of accessions with UMGMA algorithm. Results showed further genetic distance in genotypes originated from western provinces than others. The most genetic diversity observed in Lorestan and Kermanshah for boeoticum and urartu populations respectively, probably the center of origin of these einkorn wheats in Near-East.

Nowadays there are few buildings without the contamination of beetles. The beetles do not directly transmit the disease, though there are very unhygienic due to their existence in the swage system and since they bring up the swallowed food and spread their faecal everywhere, therefore being in touch with food can cause food contamination and consequently infection disease such as diarrhea, cholera, etc.
Taking into consideration the harmful effects of chemical insecticide, in this research in order to biological control of bath beetles, Beauveria bassiana has been used. The result shows the positive effect of fungus.

Moderately halophilic bacteria constitute a heterogeneous physiological group of microorganisms and able to grow in extensive rang of sodium chloride salt. These bacteria accumulate high concentration of compatible solutes to cope with the osmotic stress.
For isolation of moderately halophilic bacteria environmental samples were collected from the Persian Gulf and various sites of a tannery factory. Samples were enriched in selective media for halophils, and bacteria were cultured with streak plate method. For investigation effect of various concentrations of NaCl salt and presence of various salts on their growth, microtitre plate method was used. In this investigation, 8 bacteria from of different parts tannery factory and 8 bacteria from the Persian Gulf were isolated. Phenotypic and biotipic studies were accomplished on these bacteria.
In investigation on situation of halophili on isolated bacteria, 10 samples were halophile. Studies determined that morphology and Gram-Reaction affected on halophili and growth of isolated bacteria. Results indicated that their growth districted in presence of various salts and improved by another salts.

Cereal and legume kernels contain many α-amylase inhibitors which have potential to inhibit the α-amylase activity from variant sources. The subject of this study was partial purification of α-amylase inhibitors of red bean seeds. In this regard, we precipitated extractions as three parts with different saturation percentages of ammonium sulfate. Then, we dialyzed, in order to remove ammonium sulfate and better checking of their inhibitory activity upon on Aspergillus oryzae α-amylase. By assaying rate of inhibitory activity of each sample on the basis of their absorbance in 540 nm and comparison to absorbance of negative control, we saw that only (30-60)% fraction of each extract had inhibitory activity upon on defined α-amylase. Inhibitory of these fractions for red bean extract were 89.32 percentage. For more characterization of these inhibitors, we conducted HPLC and SDS-PAGE analyses. By assaying the activity of these inhibitors upon on other α-amylase such as salivary and pancreatic α-amylases, may be it is possible to use these α- amylase inhibitors such as Acarbose and Miglitol for treatment of type II diabetes. Also the results might be applied in agriculture to produce transgenic plants that express α-amylase inhibitors against α-amylase of pests.
