Three hundred sixty juveniles were randomly distributed into 4 treatments each with three replicates and reared in 300 liter tanks for 2 month. Three experimental treatments were fed with stevia supplemented diet at different concentration (100, 2000 and 3000 ppm) and and control group were feed with non –supplemented diets . At the end of treatments following growth parameters: condition factor, specific growth rate, relative growth rate, weight gain, length gain, food conversion ratio ,protein efficiency ratio were measured . Chemical properties of fillet including the amount of fat, crude protein, fiber, carbohydrate, ash and moisture were measured before and at the end of treatment. Results show that there was significant effect on all studied parameters such as weight gain(21.15±3.775 g) relative growth rate(0.211±0.037%),specific growth rate(1.540±0.182%) among fish fed with stevia supplemented diet at 2000 ppm and that of the control(p<0.05). According to the chemical properties, significant difference was observed between all experimental groups and control group(p<0.05). Results show that there was no significant effect on the amount of ash among fish fed with stevia supplemented foods and that of the control (p>0.05). Based on the results of this study, incorporating stevia extract at concentration of 2000ppm had a significant effect on enhancing growth parameters and chemical properties of common carp.

This experiment was undertaken on Cyprinus carpio (mean body weight 19/000±3/570) to study the effect of Banana peel powder on growth, survival and body composition. Two hundred forty juveniles were randomly distributed into 4 treatments each with three replicates and reared in 135 liter tanks for 2 month. Three experimental treatments were fed with Banana peel powder supplemented diet at three different concentration (5, 10, 15 %) control group were feed with non –supplemented diets. At the end of treatments following growth parameters condition factor, specific growth rate, relative growth rate, weight gain ,length gain, food conversion ratio ,protein efficiency ratio were measured .Chemical properties of fillet including the amount of fat, crude protein, fiber, carbohydrate, ash and moisture were measured before and at the end of treatment. . Results show that there was significant effect on specific growth rate (1.515±0/090)and protein efficiency ratio (0.915±0/010) among fish fed with Banana peel powder supplemented diet at 10% and that of the control(p<0.05). According to the chemical properties, significant difference was observed between all experimental groups and control group (p<0.05). Fish fed with Banana peel powder supplemented diet at 5% had the highest value of fat (2.230±0.111) and carbohydrates (0.830±0.081) between all treatments. The highest value of protein (20.550± 0.065).ash (2.493±0.119) and moisture (0.213±0.011) was recorded for fish that were fed with Banana peel powder supplemented diet at 15%. The survival rate was recorded 100% in all experimental and control treatments.

Abstract In order to study T3 and T4 hormones followed by oral administration of three different doses of vitamin D (IU1000, IU3000 and IU 5000 kg live weight per day). 180 fry of common carp (Cyprinus carpio) weighing 25-20 g, were divided into four treatments and three replicates of 15 fish were randomly selected in a test environment. 60 days fish were fed diets fortified with vitamin D. At day 30 and day 60, the fish samples were collected and serum obtained from the blood samples to the laboratory for examination and study of hormones, T3 and T4 were transferred to the ELISA test to measure the levels of these hormones. The results of this study indicated that thyroid hormones in common carp (Cyprinus carpio), almost under the influence of oral administration of vitamin D correcting and omitting the over words have been. T3 so that the amount of treatment (IU3000) and treatment (IU5000), 30 R showed a significant decrease compared to controls. However T3 rate at the end of a significant difference compared with control and other treatments did not continue to take vitamin D, increasing its level in the tree (IU3000 and IU5000) on day 60 of the study saw the highest level of treatment (IU5000 ) was. But T4 hormones in middle or at the end of the period, was not affected by vitamin D added to the feed. Keywords: Thyroid hormones (T3 and 4T), common carp (Cyprinus carpio), vitamin D3

This study was conducted in order to characterize the effect of different levels of dietary vitamin C on the immune system of Barbuas grypus. For this purpose 300 Barbuas grypus were divided into 15 groups( 5 treatments [b1] each with 3 replicate) . Five levels of vitamin C (0, 200 ,400,800,1600 mg kg-1 diet) and their combination were used to prepare five experimental diets. The fish were fed 3% of their wet body weight /day for a 60 days period. Blood samples were obtained from six fish of each tank at the end of experiment and following parameters were measured: white blood cell count (WBC ( and leucocytes differential count . According to the results , a significant increased was observed in the white blood cell count between treatments compared to the control group(p≤0.05). The results of differential count of leucocytes revealed significant differences in nuetrophils between treatments compared to control group (p≤0.05) , and the low number was recorded in control group.
