Polyacrylic fibers which contain 85% acrylonitrileandnano sliver-titanium can be used as antibacterial fibers in textile industry. After consuming these fibers, they can disperse in the environment and become harmful for soil bacteria. Biodegradation of these fibers can be a suitable approach for the removal of these Asnano-silver-titanium was used in the fibers. The microorganisms which were resistant to the nano particle were isolated and biodegradation of the monomer and polymer were investigated. PHGII medium with 50ppm concentration of nano particle (p105) was used for isolating resistant microorganisms. The resistant microorganisms were then inoculated in BPM medium with 1007 ppm acrylonitrile concentration and the degradation of acrylonitrile was investigated by GC. Finally the degradation of acrylic fibers in BPM for the production of acrylic acid was investigated by HPLC. In this study, Kluyvera georgiana was isolated from sludge of Isfahan polyacryl plant that was resistant to 50 ppm nano-silver-titanium (p105) and degraded 969.9 ppm acrylonitrile whilst the bacterium did not degrade the fibers

Acrylic fibers contain nano-silver and Nano-TiO2, are made of co-monomer of acrylonitrile .These fibers can be used in many different bases such as loom. Soil is one of the most important habitats of microorganisms which have vital role in different nutrient cycling. Some of these important microorganisms are Rhizobia which play an important role in cycle of nitrogen fixation and some bacilli which have cellulose enzymes and are essential in carbon cycle. In this study, R. cicil and Bacillus sp. were exposed to the acrylic fibers that contain nano-silver and Nano-TiO2, to investigate the effect of these fibers on these bacteria. Shake flask was the method used in this process and in different periods of time (0, 6, 24 hours) the colonies of bacteria were counted by drop plate method. The results showed that after 24 hours acrylic fibers which consist of nano-silver and nano-TiO2, have antibacterial effect on R. cicil and Bacillus sp. and decreased the growth of these bacteria to 72.61% and 78.09% respectively.

The aim of the present study was extraction and purification of cyclotides from Iranian Viola odorata and examination of their antimicrobial effects against Gram-positive S. aureus PTCC 1431. In the current study, the cyclotide was extracted and purified by fractionation method using SPE-C18 column. Determination of cyclotide purification degree and molecular weight was done by RP-HPLC and tricine SDS-PAGE methods, respectively. Antimicrobial effects of these peptides were studied by radial diffusion assays (RDAs). The results showed that antimicrobial effects of cyclotides were similar to vancomycin and amikacin. It seems that future studies might reveal and propose the use of these cyclotides in treatment of staphylococcal infections

L. plantarum ATCC 8014 as a probiotic have had the ability of CLA isomers production including cis-9,trans-11- 18:2 and trans-10,cis-12-18:2,CLA1 and CLA2, respectively, from castor oil that contains 89% ricinoleic acid. Results of this research have shown that addition of linoleic acid to the pre culture had positive effect on linoleate isomerase expression and it caused CLA isomers high production. Our results also indicated that concentration of substrate and incubation time are dramatically effective on the CLA isomers production. From these results 0.426mg/ml CLA1 and 0.371mg/ml CLA2 are produced from a reaction mixture includes potassium phosphate buffer (0.1M,pH 6.5), 8mg/ml castor oil and 0.1% tween 80, 100U/ml Lipase L-175 Sigma with 12%(wet) Biomass, under microaerobic condition and 37 °C for 72 hours.

Moderately halophilic bacteria constitute a heterogeneous physiological group of microorganisms and able to grow in extensive rang of sodium chloride salt. These bacteria accumulate high concentration of compatible solutes to cope with the osmotic stress.
For isolation of moderately halophilic bacteria environmental samples were collected from the Persian Gulf and various sites of a tannery factory. Samples were enriched in selective media for halophils, and bacteria were cultured with streak plate method. For investigation effect of various concentrations of NaCl salt and presence of various salts on their growth, microtitre plate method was used. In this investigation, 8 bacteria from of different parts tannery factory and 8 bacteria from the Persian Gulf were isolated. Phenotypic and biotipic studies were accomplished on these bacteria.
In investigation on situation of halophili on isolated bacteria, 10 samples were halophile. Studies determined that morphology and Gram-Reaction affected on halophili and growth of isolated bacteria. Results indicated that their growth districted in presence of various salts and improved by another salts.
